How a working Girl become an Etsy Seller
I would like to start with a famous quote that inspired me a lot in my life.
“Push yourself, because no one else is going to do it for you”
Hi,
My name is Shafali Garg, I am a Jewellery designer. First of all I would say Thank you to Etsy who gives me a good platform and space where I can present my jewelry and make money, its not easy to find and get buyers but etsy is a best platform where you just do your job from heart and Etsy will bring buyers for you. Thank you Etsy.
I was born and grown in a middle class family. I completed my graduation in 2014. Every women loves to wear beautiful Jewellery, I also love to wear Jewellery but more than that I love to designs beautiful styles of Jewellery. I always used to design Jewellery in my free time, gradually it became my passion. So, following my passion, I did Jewellery Designing course after my graduation and completed it in 2016. After completing the course, I started working as a Jewellery designer in a company and also as a freelancer.
Working 12 hours or more in a day (8 hours for my job and then freelance work) always encouragement me to work hard for my passion.
As from first quarter of 2020, we all are facing the Pandemic, Covid. We all have suffered a lot in due to the Pandemic.
I lost my Job In the third quarter of 2020, that was a very difficult time for me and my family. That time I realized that I need to be self-dependent, I have to start my own business by perusing my passion.
By the starting of 2021, when everything is coming back to normal, I started doing some part time work with some Jewellery companies. I did some workshops as well during that period. Every time there is an urge which pushes me to follow my passion, I came to know about ETSY through one of my friends. I found it interesting, so I started learning about ETSY, its policies and working.
I felt through ETSY, I can show my passion and creativity to the world. Through I was in Jewellery line since a long time so I have some contact with some silver smiths.
They are now helping me in running my ETSY shop
I feel my creativity and their hard work will make beautiful Jewellery which you would definitely love.
Thank you so much for your time and love.
Best Regards
Shafali Garg
